1. Mobile phone number during anti-epidemic period

When you are staying in Hong Kong during the anti-epidemic period, you must have a valid mobile phone number to receive local SMS / phone calls; otherwise, important messages regarding COVID-19 testing results, quarantine, isolation and COVID-19 vaccination cannot reach you.
These messages are very important for you to comply with relevant regulations and protect yourself. This phone number is also very useful for contact tracing purposes when positive cases are identified.

2. Government updates list of places of recognised vaccination records

The Government announced that it accepts the vaccination records issued by Kosovo, Madagascar and Tanzania as recognised vaccination records for persons arriving at Hong Kong who have stayed in overseas places. The relevant arrangements take effect at 0.00am on July 6.

3. Government implements measures with immediate effect to curb scalping of designated quarantine hotels guest rooms

The Government announced the immediate implementation of measures to curb scalping of guest rooms of designated quarantine hotels (DQHs) and the inclusion of three more DQH hotels under the eighth cycle of the DQH Scheme to increase the room supply.

4. HAD "StayHomeSafe" telephone hotline new service arrangement

The Home Affairs Department announced that starting from June 30, there are a new service arrangement for the "StayHomeSafe" telephone hotline (1833 019). The service hours are adjusted from 24 hours to 7am to 11pm daily. A new voicemail function is added to the hotline so that callers who leave their messages after service hours will have their calls followed up by hotline staff in the morning on the following day.

5. 70th and 71st rounds of compulsory testing for staff members of RCHEs, RCHDs and nursing homes
